Kay took us to a potluck picnic at her neighbor's farm. Bridget's farm is the one I have been hiking on and where I took the first photos of New Zealand. These pictures are tiny, but Kay is the fifth from the left with the bag over her shoulder. Bridget is the fourth from the right in the blue top looking at the camera (iPhone, whatever...)
The guy on the far left is cycling all over New Zealand over the span of a year. Then he is heading to Thailand, Cambodia, etc, with no idea when he might go back to the States. "Maybe never. Maybe in two or three years."
Some of the boys were digging shoulder deep in a hole in the ground. None pulled his arm out screaming with a badger attached, or anything like that, although that would have been exciting.
