On election night, I noticed that there was a Brett Guthrie running for Congress (same exact name as one of my nephews). I immediately called Brett up to tell him we was leading in the polls. I think Brett watched the rest of the night and Kevin tried to find campaign stickers. Brett won, incidentally. I don't think they ever got a response on the stickers, though.
I noted that night that the name Guthrie used to be uncommon. It seems more common all the time. It is certainly far more common in New Zealand than in Nebraska. I keep seeing signs...
Near Castlepoint
In Masterton (but I have seen more since then)
On the south island driving through a town.
